What is Shared Hosting?
Shared Hosting is a service that allocates space and resources on a server specifically for the files that make up your website. It allows you to publish your website on the internet so your audience can access it and view it. That’s a loaded description of Web Hosting. Let’s look at a wider view of it. Just as you need a physical location if you want to construct a store, building, or house, you need a physical location for your website. All of the files (text, images, databases, videos, etc.) that your website is made up of take up space. While a domain name is essentially the address of your website, all of your website’s files need to be stored somewhere. Web Hosting gives you that storage place in the form of a server. This is a very powerful computer that keeps those files and delivers them to your visitor’s web browser. Each server has an IP address that allows your visitors’ computers to find your website to view it.
I'm not sure if the shared hosting plan will be sufficient. Can I upgrade later if needed?
Yes, our Web Hosting solutions are completely scalable. That means we’ll have a Web Hosting solution perfect for you even as your site and resource needs grow.

What is the difference between VPS and Dedicated Server?
VPS Hosting is a popular option. Like Shared Hosting, virtual private server (VPS) Hosting customers are hosted on a server with other customers. However, with the use of virtualization, VPS Hosting customer accounts are partitioned into individual server environments. Unlike Shared Hosting, you do not share the RAM, CPU or disk space limits with other users. A VPS essentially behaves as a miniature Dedicated Server.

Dedicated Hosting provides the ultimate hosting environment. That’s because your site, files, databases, software and more are all hosted on a single physical server exclusively for your use.

To really understand the difference between the two services, consider a large building used for housing purposes. A VPS uses the building like an apartment. Each user has their own space within the building. With dedicated hosting, each person gets their very own building to live in. They can divide up and use the building however they like, and do not have to share it or its resources with any other user.
How to connect to VPS?
You can use RDP and SSH to connect to your VPS.
●Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is a proprietary communication protocol developed by Microsoft that enables users to access and control a desktop computer remotely. A Microsoft Remote Desktop Client is terminal application mostly used to connect to a Windows OS.
●Secure Shell (SSH) is a cryptographic network protocol used to securely access and manage remote computers and servers over an unsecured network. SSH used to connect to a Linux OS that provides a secure channel for data communication and authentication, protecting sensitive information from potential eavesdropping, tampering, or unauthorized access.

What is SSL Certificate?
For just about any site, you probably need an SSL Certificate. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) provides safe communication via the internet. SSL Certificates protect sensitive information with encryption techniques when transmitting information between a web server and a web browser. Millions of websites use SSL Certificates on their site to keep their customers’ and their visitors’ information safe. Your visitors will notice that your site is protected by an SSL Certificate because your website URL will begin with HTTPS as opposed to HTTP. Additional signals of a site being secured by HTTPs is the padlock in the browser bar and a green extended validation bar found in more advanced SSL Certificate options. Some SSL Certificates also offer you a secure site seal for you to publish to signify to your visitors that your website is safe and their information is safe from potential attackers.

An SSL Certificate is installed on a web server to authenticate your website’s identity. This means that the website is what it claims to be. In other words, it proves your identity to your visitors so they can be sure they are seeing your site, and not a fake or bogus website.

The other key function of an SSL Certificate is that it encrypts the data that is transmitted between the server containing the site and your visitors. This prevents data being sent between your website and your visitors from being read by anyone else.

Dedicated Server Hosting vs Colocation in Data Center
All companies have different kinds of needs when it comes down to hosting. Colocation and dedicated servers are two types of services offered by a hosting provider.
The difference between colocation and dedicated server is that with colocation, the customer owns the hardware, and with dedicated server, he rents servers from the server provider. In the case of colocation, the client performs all the maintenance on the server. In contrast, with dedicated server , the server provider performs the servers installation, management, and maintenance. Companies can fully manage their own IT or hand it over to a hosting provider.
If a project is expensive, a dedicated server may be a more cost-effective option, but colocation may be a better choice if you have the technical resources and knowledge.
